Find a squat clean a.d jerk 1 rep max. Then 12 minutes of 3 sq cleans and then double unders.

I tried 165. Felt ok. The used 135. After 9 rounds my lower back tightened up. 120 double unders. First DNF in a while.


  1. Do you think you were relaxing your abs with the squat cleans? I ask because whenever my back tightens up it's because I'm using my back exclusively to keep my upright, forgetting about my abs.

    Likely so. I had rowed almost 6k the day before. It was too much for me.
